Needham Pediatrics has a large staff of registered nurses (RNs), all of whom have years of experience in pediatrics. The nurses at Needham Pediatrics work closely with the physicians to ensure that every patient receives care that is safe and appropriate to his or her individual needs.

During every visit to Needham Pediatrics, you will see one of the nurses along with your physician. In addition, during weekday hours, we always have a nurse assigned to a Telephone Triage role. You can call the Telephone Nurse with any questions you have. In general, you will receive a response within 60 minutes of your call.

In addition to their role in routine patient care, our nurses work in a number of special capacities in the practice:

Nancy Clegg, who has worked at Needham Pediatrics for more than 20 years, serves as our Charge Nurse.

Joan Ricciardelli works to maintain our Quality Improvement projects relating to our care of patients with asthma and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Maria Vallace is a certified lactation consultant and provides support and consultation for breastfeeding mothers.
