Needham Pediatrics has been using eClinicalWorks, an electronic medical record system, since April 2009. One of the features of eClinicalWorks is a Patient Portal that allows secure web-based interactions between patients and the practice. With the Patient Portal, patients can:

Request non-urgent appointments on-line

Request prescription refills on-line

Request insurance referrals

Send general messages and inquiries to the practice

View immunization records and listed medication allergies

In addition, the practice can messages of general interest to our patients. For instance, when seasonal flu vaccine becomes available in the late summer or fall, we are able to notify our patients by electronic messaging.

In order to use the Portal, you will need to be "web enabled." Our front desk staff can help you with this the next time you are in the office.
